In April 2004, Infraserv Logistics formed Contargo Industriepark Frankfurt-Höchst GmbH (formerly F.I.T. GmbH) by integrating its handling and storage business for dangerous goods and hazardous substances with Contargo (formerly Combined Container Service), a major inland navigation service provider on the Rhine and Main Rivers. A trimodal transportation terminal was established at Industriepark Höchst, delivering a full range of services from barge, rail and truck transportation to depot storage for overseas and tank containers with and without dangerous goods, including repair and cleaning. Contargo Industriepark Frankfurt-Höchst runs the trimodal port that smoothly links road, rail and river routes. It also handles cargo for companies outside Industriepark Höchst.
