Infraserv Höchst Prozesstechnik named new Bayer maintenance partner in Frankfurt
Partnership starts on February 1, 2021
As of February 2021, Infraserv Höchst Prozesstechnik GmbH will be the new maintenance partner for Bayer AG’s Crop Science division at its Frankfurt location. The partnership is initially intended to run for seven years. Preparations for the operational execution and assumption of individual maintenance services are already underway.
For Joachim Kreysing, Managing Director of Infraserv Höchst, the Bayer AG partnership confirms that the Infraserv Höchst Group and its subsidiary have taken the right strategic direction. Infraserv Höchst Prozesstechnik GmbH started operations in 2018 with a focus on rotating equipment and process analyzers and has been resolutely broadening its service range ever since. “This new maintenance partnership with Bayer proves that we are on the right track with our service portfolio. As a site service provider, we supply our customers with full-range maintenance solutions for all their process equipment,” noted Kreysing.
Digitalization Expertise
The maintenance partnership covers all facets of equipment maintenance such as mechanical systems, electrical measurement and control systems, turnaround management and project coordination. Frank Unger, Managing Director of Infraserv Höchst Prozesstechnik, is thrilled about the future relationship: “We will be able to effectively contribute our expertise to this partnership, especially when it comes to our and Bayer’s experience with digitalization in areas such as app and sensor development. We will take these tools and rigorously harness and enhance them for the delivery of predictive maintenance.” Infraserv Höchst Prozesstechnik GmbH is growing its team, too. The young company, which had 30 employees last year, plans to put another 20 highly skilled specialists on its payroll in the next several months.
Frank Zurmühlen, Head of Site Management Frankfurt/Knapsack for Bayer AG Division Crop Science, is satisfied with the new partner’s expertise: “We are delighted to have a strong partner like Infraserv Prozesstechnik at our side.” Jesko Zank, Site Technical Management at Bayer AG, added, “We, along with Mr. Unger and his team, have already designed a new system for our maintenance planning activities that can preserve more of our knowledge and present the new services more transparently. I look forward to a great partnership!”
