Change at the top of Infraserv Logistics GmbH
Dr. Andreas Brockmeyer supersedes Thomas Schmidt – Infraserv Höchst Group opts for job rotation at executive level
As of July 1, 2020, Dr. Andreas Brockmeyer (60) takes over as Managing Director of Infraserv Logistics GmbH. In the future, he’ll be in charge of managing operations at the logistics company, together with co-director Dr. Klaus Alberti (58). Mr. Brockmeyer will replace Thomas Schmidt (61), who in turn assumes Brockmeyer’s former position as Managing Director of Infrasite Griesheim GmbH and will also be entrusted with additional management responsibilities at Infraserv Höchst.
New impulses through experienced managers
Infraserv Logistics is no novice to job rotation at executive level: two and a half years ago, Dr. Klaus Alberti joined the company’s management board and in turn handed over his job as head of the central function Corporate Development & Communication to ISL’s former Managing Director Jochen Schmidt.
“At Infraserv Höchst Group, we want to keep seizing our opportunities to entrust experienced executives with new responsibilities in other fields of expertise and thus generate new impulses,” explains Jürgen Vormann, CEO of Infraserv Höchst. Vormann thanks Thomas Schmidt, who joined the Management Board of Infraserv Logistics GmbH on March 1, 2014, and brought the company forward during predominately difficult times. In the future, Thomas Schmidt will advance various cross-unit projects in his new role as Head of Project Management and report directly to the Management Board of Infraserv Höchst. Furthermore, Schmidt will take the position of Managing Director at Infrasite Griesheim GmbH, a provider of infrastructure services at Industriepark Griesheim.
Dr. Andreas Brockmeyer boasts a wealth of executive experience
Dr. Andreas Brockmeyer already held manifold executive positions with Infraserv Höchst Group. The physicist started his professional career at Hoechst AG. When Infraserv Höchst was founded, he became Deputy Head of Marketing & Sales and established the site marketing business, which contributed substantially to the successful development of Industriepark Höchst. From 2007 through 2011, he was responsible for Marketing and Sales at Provadis GmbH, before he became Managing Director of the subsidiary Technion and finally assumed the position of Managing Director at Infrasite Griesheim.
